We continue to be blessed by the presence of the Lord. God has again shown us that He is in charge of lives and our destiny. With no advertising and a last minute location change, we still reached over 60 people (18 first time guests) at our second preview service, and had one person recommit her life to Christ. In the parable of the lost sheep (Luke 15), Jesus says that we ought to rejoice with our friends and family when one soul finds it's way back to Christ. The average church in America wins less than 12 souls for Christ each year. At Crossroads with just two preview services, 5 souls have chosen to trust Christ.
I am so excited about this Kingdom work. God has put some great people in my life who have poured into this project. I wish I could name them all, but the list is already too long. But I do want to mention a couple of Church Planting guys, Hal Mayer (www.halmayer.com) and John Jackson ( http://pastorpreneur.typepad.com/pastorpreneur/). These guys are getting it done in a BIG way. My prayers are that God will continue to bless their ministries and that Crossroads will have as great of an impact as they are having in their communities.
