Please Join Me on Sunday, May 25th

Wow! That is the one word that comes to mind when I reflect on my career at Second Missionary Baptist Church, and as I gaze into the future of Crossroads Christian Center. Those of you who know me personally know that I entered Second Baptist a sheep (really a lost sheep), but as I approach my last week of any official role at Second Baptist, I leave there a shepherd. I am very appreciative of many people at Second Baptist who have poured words of encouragement, acts of kindness, and prayers into my life. At the top of that list is none other than Pastor A. P. Williams. He has truly been a mentor and spiritual father to me. He will always be my Pastor, and I will forever be grateful to him.

For those of you who live in the Jackson area, I ask you to join me next Sunday at 11am when I will be sharing these thoughts and others during my last sermon as an Associate Minister at Second Baptist Church. Above all, please keep our family in your prayers as we bring one chapter in our life to a close, and begin a new chapter full of the greatness that God has promised in His Word.
